Dear BHL Hurricane Families,

A quick reminder to download the SwimTopia app if you haven’t already! The app is the easiest way to stay up to date with team information and to complete important meet sign-ups.

Athlete Declarations Are Now Open for All Meets!

Please take a few minutes to declare whether your swimmer will or will not attend each swim meet this season.

This is extremely important because our coaches use this information to:

• Enter swimmers in the appropriate events
• Build relay teams
• Ensure every swimmer is placed where they can best contribute to the team

Even if your swimmer cannot attend, please mark them as "Not Attending."

Declaration Deadline

12:00 PM (NOON) on the Friday before each Tuesday meet

You are welcome to declare for the entire season now if you already know your family's schedule.

How to Declare Your Swimmer

1. Open the SwimTopia app and log in.
2. Scroll down to Upcoming Events.
3. Select the meet (for example, “Echo Mill @ BHL”).
4. Tap Meet Sign Up.
5. Tap the blue Edit button.
6. For each swimmer, choose Attending or Not Attending.
7. Tap the blue Save button.
8. Repeat for all open meets.

Volunteer Job Sign-Up

Each family is also asked to sign up for volunteer positions at 4 half meets.

Volunteer Deadline

12:00 PM (NOON) on the Monday before each Tuesday meet

How to Sign Up for Volunteer Jobs

1. Open the SwimTopia app and log in.
2. Scroll down to Upcoming Events.
3. Select the meet you wish to volunteer for.
4. Scroll down and tap Job Sign Up.
5. Tap the blue Sign Up for Jobs button.
6. Check the box next to your desired job.
7. Tap the blue Save Assignments button.
8. Repeat for all open meets.
